POLICE have been carrying on the fight of cracking down on speeding motorists in Bolton.
Officers in the town launched Operation Portman towards the end of last year in reaction to concerns over dangerous driving in the borough.
And that work is continuing in 2021 as police set up at speeding hotspots around Bolton to record speeds and educate drivers on the dangers that comes with going over the limit.
Last night police were on Chorley Old Road.
A police spokesman said: "Officers from Bolton West neighbourhood team have been out this evening conducting speed enforcement at Chorley Old Road, Doffcocker.
"We will continue to be out and about at all times of the day and night trying to reduce the number of deaths on our roads.
"Please do your bit and slow down."
