A DRIVER is to be sentenced after he admitted seriously injuring a man in a collision in Farnworth.
Alfeteh Mustafa appeared in the dock at Bolton Crown Court and, speaking through an interpreter, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention or without reasonable consideration for others and causing grievous bodily harm to Peter Taylor.
He also admitted having no licence or insurance for the Audi he was driving.
The court heard that the careless driving occurred on May 6 on Albert Road and Harrowby Street, Farnworth.
Sudanese-born Mustafa, aged 24, of Wellington Street, Farnworth, was granted bail and reports about him will be prepared before he is sentenced on February 16.
