We asked each of Bolton's three MPs what their hopes are for Bolton going into 2021.
This is what Yasmin Qureshi, Labour MP for Bolton South East had to say:
"Like everyone I will be looking at 2021 as the year we see the back of the pandemic.
"Sadly, we have been put back into another national lockdown to prevent the NHS from being overwhelmed.
"I know from personal experience the impact Covid can have and I support measures to ease pressure on the NHS so that safe care can be delivered to those who need it.
"I am optimistic that the end is in sight with a number of vaccines signed off and the roll out under way.
"I encourage everyone to take up the vaccine if offered, as this is the route back to normality.
"I will be doing everything I can in the coming months to support the local public effort both locally and nationally to make the vaccine roll out a success."
