A LYE man has been remanded in custody to await trial after being charged with robbery, aggravated burglary and theft from a shop.
Alan Buckingham, aged 35, of King Street, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Saturday January 9 after being charged.
The charges relate to a robbery in Wynall Lane South, Wollescote, in which jewellery, a mobile phone, bag and £800 cash was taken and the theft of items from Costcutter in Halesowen. He is also accused of attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm during the burglary on November 6 and being in possession of a knife.
At Saturday's hearing he was remanded in custody to await trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court on February 8.
