A 50-YEAR-OLD man is recovering at home following a stabbing in Breightmet - police have questioned and released three people on bail in relation to the incident.
A fourth man has been released with no further action taken.
On Wednesday evening police were called at around 6.20pm to reports of a stabbing on Monks lane after a fight broke out.
The 50-year-old had been stabbed and was seriously hurt during the incident. He was taken to hospital, although his condition was not-life threatening.
At the time three men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.
Police have now questioned two of the men and the woman, and they have subsequently been released on bail.
Police said: "Two men and a woman have been questioned and released on bail.
"A man has been released with no further action to be taken.
"The victim - a 50-year-old man - is continuing his recovery at home."
