A MUM from Bolton was shortlisted in photography competition held across Greater Manchester celebrating the lives of older people.
Harriet Jarvis, who lives in Daisy Hill, entered a photo of her father Andrew Eaves and her daughter Lily in the Old Frame New Photo competition.
Harriet was delighted when she found out her photo was among 41 selected to be shown in an online exhibition.
She said: "I thought the competition was such a lovely idea, I had taken this photo while on holiday in Whitby in February last year.
"Lily and my dad spend so much time together but of course they haven't been able to see each other as much.
"It's actually my dad who's the keen photographer, but I felt that this photo was really fun.
"I'm so happy to have been shortlisted, there are lots of other amazing photos which were entered."
The competition was organised by Greater Manchester Older People’s Network, Greater Manchester Ageing Hub and voluntary and community sector support organisation Macc.
The six winning photos will be shown on digital billboards across Greater Manchester from this week, while the 41 shortlisted entries are available to view at gmopn.org.uk
