ENTRANCE: The Royal Bolton Hospital
FOUR deaths have been recorded at Royal Bolton hospital.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust reported four deaths in todays NHS figures, all of which occurred in the hospital on Thursday (January 21).
This takes the total number of Covid-19 related deaths in the hospital to 528.
Nationally, a further 1,348 people have died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Saturday, bringing the UK total to 97,329.
Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies for deaths where Covid-19 has been mentioned on the death certificate, together with additional data on deaths that have occurred in recent days, show there have now been 113,000 deaths involving Covid-19 in the UK.
