JUST over half of Bolton’s wards have seen an increase in positive Covid-19 cases, according to the Government’s data map.
In total cases in 18 of Bolton’s wards have gone up in the seven days leading to January 18.
Figures reveal that 17 wards saw a drop in people testing positive for coronavirus.
Lever Edge saw the biggest increase in new cases in that seven-day period, with 25 new cases identified from the previous seven-day period.
Meanwhile Breightmet North saw the largest decrease in people testing positive, with cases falling by 22.
