NO DEATHS have been reported today by Bolton hospital.
This week, a total of 24 Covid-19 related fatalities were recorded by Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.
Four deaths were reported by the trust yesterday, seven on Friday (January 22), six on Thursday, two on Wednesday and five on Tuesday.
No deaths were reported in today (January 24) or Mondays figures.
The data, released by the NHS, is of patients who have died in hospitals in England and either tested positive for Covid-19 or where no positive test result was received for Covid-19, but Covid-19 was mentioned on their death certificate.
Meanwhile, the infection rate for Bolton for the seven days to January 18 stands at 365.8 per 100,000 after 1052 tested positive - a decrease from the previous weeks (seven days to January 11) infection rate of 384.6 per 100,000 after 1106 positive cases were discovered.
