FINES have been issued to a group of four people who were out during lockdown for a drive.
Officers on patrol in Blackburn stopped the Vauxhall on Monday evening.
When they were being spoken to, one of the occupants told police that they were ‘just out for a drive’.
The car was also found to have no insurance and was subsequently seized.
A spokesman said: “Four occupants in this vehicle when stopped in Blackburn said ‘we have all just come out for a drive’ - no insurance, vehicle seized and COVID tickets issued. There are no words, or maybe there are!”
