GREATER Manchester Police were out tackling driving offences last night, seizing vehicles across the borough.
Late on Monday evening, a VW Beetle was stopped in the back streets off of Bury Road in Breightmet.
The driver found to have a provisional licence and no insurance - with the car seized and the driver reported for the offences.
A few hours later on Tuesday morning, officers sighted a vehicle in Manchester Road East, Little Hulton.
The car was eventually stopped on Harrop Street, where it was found to be on false plates.
The driver, who failed a drug test, was also found to be disqualified and wanted for failing to appear at Preston magistrates court for Taking without owner's consent (TWOC).
The car was seized by GMP officers.
Both incidents were reported on GMP's Traffic Twitter account.
