A car stolen from south Manchester has been recovered by police in Farnworth.
The Citeroen car was stolen this morning in the Chorlton area of south Manchester following a burglary this morning, according to police.
However, a short time later it was recovered by Farnworth police community support officers in Back Harrowby Street, Farnworth.
The owners have now been able to recover their car while inquiries into the burglary are ongoing, according to police.
A GMP Bolton South spokesman said: "This car, stolen from Chorlton area following a burglary this morning has been recovered by Farnworth PCSOs on Back Harrowby Street, Farnworth a short time later.
"Owners were contacted and have been to collect. Inquiries regarding their burglary are ongoing."
