A MORRISONS supermarket has donated more than 150 pizza making kits to local community groups and foodbanks for struggling families to enjoy over the half term.
The Chorley Old Road branch’s effort was led by the store’s community champion, Emma Parkinson.
The community groups and foodbanks that received the pizza-kits include Fortalice women’s refuge, Bolton Lads and Girls Cub, Harmony Youth Project, The Darren Deady Welfare Unit, Westhoughton Assist Service and the Halliwell Community Support Group.
Each kit includes instructions as to how to make your own pizza along with a ready to roll pizza dough, tomato sauce, grated cheese and other ingredients.
