TWO people were arrested after police spotted a 'cloned Kia' on Bradford Street in Bolton the early hours of the morning.

The Kia Sorento was followed onto the M60, where two more police cars joined the chase.

The driver was eventually stopped at junction 9 close to the Trafford Centre - after police boxed in the SUV causing it to crash into one of the police cars. 

Police said the vehicle was stolen and false number plates had been used.

They arrested two people for taking a motor vehicle. The driver also failed a drugs test, police said.

Police said: "Our XT14 spotted the cloned Kia Sorento on Bradford Street Bolton. Followed onto the M60 where he was joined by XT28, XT48 tactical pursuit and containment tactics deployed at J9 Parkway.

"Two people detained for taking of a motor vehicle. The car had been stolen vehicle on false plates. The driver also failed a drugs test."
