BOLTON fitness instructor Niall Bradley has raised more than £600 for Age UK Bolton, by running his age.
Niall, who is Age UK Bolton’s strength and balance coach, completed the charity’s national Run Your Age campaign on January 29.
The 29-year-old ran 29 kilometres on a route that took him from Bolton town centre, through Horwich, Anderton and Addlington all the way down to Fredericks Ice-cream shop - where he turned around and ran all the way back.
He finished his challenge by running through the arches of Le Mans Crescent.
Niall raised £622 for the charity, which promotes older people’s independence and well-being, smashing his original target of £290.

“I’m very proud of both accomplishments, completing my longest ever run and smashing through the fundraising target," he said. "The support I received was overwhelming.”
He added: “The run was tough in places, but looking back on it maybe a little easier than expected overall.
"I suffered some foot issues but I’m looking to get them resolved so I can improve my running performance I feel ready for a marathon next time.”
