The school’s Rivington Class (Year 5) have set themselves different challenges to raise money for the children’s hospice, and their current total is more than £1,300.

Pupil Rory Tuson has set himself the goal of covering 100 miles on his family’s new spinning bike by the end of February.

Rory has raised almost £300 so far.

“We’re exceptionally proud of him,” said Rory’s mum Paula. “He is a very kind-hearted and generous little boy.”
