A MAN was allegedly assaulted and forced into the back of a car in Bolton this afternoon.
Police called at 12.35pm about the incident on Halliwell Road with reports of armed officers searching the area.
As police searched the scene, an 18-year-old man arrived at a police station with serious injuries. He is believed to be the victim.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of kidnap, grievous bodily harm, possession with intent to supply class B drugs, and money laundering.
Enquiries are ongoing.
