Stuart Whittle
STUART WHITTLE, aged 36, is a prolific burglar who sprayed an off-duty police officer in the face with a substance, thought to be CS gas, as he tried to arrest him. He was jailed for five years and nine months.
Mark Byron
MARK BYRON, aged 46, was seen with a knife in the street hammering on a neighbour's door. Days earlier he had received a police caution for assaulting the woman. He was jailed for 15 months.
Lee Cadwallader
LEE CADWALLADER, aged 32, was one of three men who attacked a drug dealer. He was jailed for eight months.
Paul Hewitt and Paul Albertsen
PAUL HEWITT, left, and PAUL ALBERTSON are corrupt former prison officers at Forest Bank jail. They stole thousands of pounds of DVDs, games consoles and electrical goods which were due to be sorted for a firm by inmates. The were each given 15-month prison sentences.

Gary Spilsbury
GARY SPILSBURY, aged 48, was jailed for 13 years after a series of robberies and burglaries. During one incident the prolific criminal tied up a woman and threatened to rape her if she did not give him her bank car pin number.
Curtis O'Brien
CURTIS O'BRIEN, aged 31, attacked the police officer who tried to arrest him for drink driving following a car chase. He was jailed for 19 months after admitting dangerous driving and other offences.
Damien Parkinson
DAMIEN PARKINSON, aged 29, attacked his girlfriend with a kitchen fork before trying to strangle her. He was given a 14-month prison sentence after admitting causing actual bodily harm.
John Dunbar
JOHN DUNBAR, alias Stuart Partington, is a 57-year-old Bolton rapist and robber who was jailed again for three years at Liverpool Crown Court after he hurled racist abuse at Christmas shoppers just weeks after being released from prison.
