Cannabis: The plants were discovered in Darcy Lever
A MAN from Westhoughton has been charged with the production of cannabis.
Afred Pirra, 26 of Bolton Road was arrested after the discovery of 45 cannabis plants at a home on Mount Pleasant in Darcy Lever.
Police officers from Bolton North Neighbourhood Team discovered the plants yesterday when executing a drug warrant at the property.
Pirra was the arrested and taken into police custody for questioning.
Having now been charged he has also been remanded in police custody and will appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court tomorrow on Monday March 1 2021.
