A DRIVER and their passenger were fined £1600 after they were found to be breaking lockdown regulations for the fourth time.
Officers in Blackburn seized the Audi RS3 they were in after it was seen travelling at high speeds on the wrong side of the road.
Before being stopped the driver had also navigated the vehicle through a red light.
A police spokesman said: “Audi RS3 seized in Blackburn. It had been driven at high speed on the wrong side of the road and then through a red light. Driver and passenger out at 3am without a reasonable excuse for the Fourth time so a Covid ticket issued for £1600.”
