FIREFIGHTERS are warning of the dangers of burning rubbish in the garden after a petrol can caught fire.
Crews were called to Breightmet this afternoon after controlled burning spread to a petrol cannister ar around 3pm today.
Fortunately, the fire was brought under control quickly and no one was injured and there was no damage to property.
Firefighters said the using accelerant to start a fire was hugely dangerous and could cause serious injury, adding it was sheer luck there was no serious injury or threat to property.
