Water leak in Blackburn Road
Blackburn Road is closed in both directions due to emergency repairs of a burst water main.
Water filled a section of Blackburn Road outside Dunscar Business Park due to the burst main yesterday afternoon with repairs this morning causing long delays to traffic.
The repairs are between Darwen Road (Dunscar War Memorial, Egerton) and Eagley Way (Bolton).
The closure is also causing congestion to routes through Bromley Cross and Bradshaw with delays along Darwen Road, Turton Road and Bradshaw Brow.
Please be aware of an emergency road closure on A666 Blackburn Road at Dunscar. @unitedutilities dealing with a major issue.
