An abandoned stolen vehicle in Chester Avenue, Little Lever
A stolen vehicle has been returned to its owner after it was found abandoned by a member of the public.
PCSO Ian Garbett was made aware of the abandoned car in Chester Avenue, Little Lever, by a resident.
After further investigation the police found that this car had been stolen before being abandoned there.
The car has now been returned to its owner.
A GMP Bolton North spokesman, said: "Whilst on foot patrol, PCSO 65005 Ian Garbett from the LittleLever Neighbourhood Team was approached by a member of the public reporting an abandoned car hidden behind some houses on Chester Avenue.
"The vehicle was found to be stolen and returned to its owner."
