A WOMAN who used racial threatening behaviour towards a police officer in Salford last September has been ordered to do 40 hours of unpaid work. Charlotte Shuker, aged 23, of Stirling Road, Bolton, must pay £50 in compensation.

A MAN who used threatening behaviour towards a woman on February 20 has been jailed for three months. Manchester magistrates said Matthew Williams, aged 27, of Manchester Road, Blackrod, had a “flagrant disregard” for court orders. A restraining order was made banning him from contacting his victim and going to Glaister Lane, Bolton or Asda at Middlebrook.

A BMW driver caught using the vehicle without insurance on Chorley New Road, Bolton, on August 9 has been fined £120. Jacob King, aged 20, of Fearnhead Avenue, Horwich, pleaded guilty.

MAGISTRATES have ordered a man to pay a woman £150 in compensation after he admitted harassing her between February 4 and 19 by sending number messages, making phone calls and turning up at her home. David Kavanagh, aged 38, of Settle Street, Bolton, was also ordered obey a restraining order banning him from contacting the victim or going to Roxalina Street, Bolton.

A WOMAN who drove a Honda HR-V in Milnthorpe Road, Bolton, on August 18 last year, without a licence or insurance has been fined £586. Karen Ramsden, aged 37, of Colwith Avenue, Bolton, pleaded guilty.

A MOTORIST has been ordered to have treatment for alcohol addiction after he was caught having drunk more than three times the legal limit for driving. Danny Patel, aged 34, of Division Street, Bolton, drove a VW Golf on Division Street, Bolton, on January 4. He was also banned from the roads for 40 months, fined £270 and ordered to participate 20 days of rehabilitation activities.

A MAN admitted assaulting a police officer in Bolton on November 15, 2019. Jordan Hodgson, aged 27, of Dorset Close, Farnworth, was fined £337 and ordered to pay £75 compensation.

A MAN caught drink driving at a motorway roundabout has been banned from holding a driving licence for 18 months. Stephen Butler, aged 29, of Central Avenue, Farnworth, was more than twice over the alcohol limit when he drove a Ford Focus at the M61 Junction 4 Watergate roundabout on February 11.

ANDRE Sima, aged 31, of Buttermere Road, Farnworth, has been fined £288 after he used threatening behaviour on August 4 last year.

A MAN who messaged a woman in breach of a restraining order on November 30 last year has been fined £180. Suleyman Altinsoy, aged 39, of Plodder Lane, Farnworth, admitted breaching the order.

MAGISTRATES have sentenced a man to a conditional discharge for 12 months after he damaged a woman’s window in October last year. Gareth Mulvaney, aged 40, of Victoria Road, Horwich, pleaded guilty and was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation.

A WOMAN who drove a VW Polo on Turton Road, Bolton, on February 14 after drinking almost double the alcohol limit has been banned from holding a driving licence for 17 months. Georgia Brooks, aged 22, of Rusland Drive, Bolton, was fined £276
