THE partner of an 'adventurous and honest' woman has been left in shock after her sudden death at just 39.

Lisa Clark, described by her loving partner Craig Snelson as a 'bright star', in hospital after suffering an aneurysm.

The 39-year-old factory worker had been at work when she fainted suddenly, Mr Snelson said.

The aneurysm was found but unfortunately it was in a place where it could not be operated upon.

And just 48 hours later she passed away surrounded by her family.

Mr Snelson said: “Lisa was the most honest person in the world. Honesty is all she ever wanted from people.

“She was like a bright star with the most beautiful eyes.

“We met through friends and we didn’t see eye to eye at first but I fell for her eyes.”

Mr Snelson said the couple, who had been together for seven years and lived together in Penrith, in Cumbria, had big plans for the future.

He said: “She was always full of laughs and no matter what she was able to make you smile. Lisa was like a bright star, always shining.”

The couple, who also worked together, enjoyed going on days away together including trips to Whitby and Edinburgh.

They had a special trip planned to mark Lisa's 40th birthday in November.

Mr Snelson said she loved to do ‘arty farty’ things and was great at planning trips.

The family have asked for donations to the Great North Air Ambulance in lieu of flowers.

Mr Snelson said: "Lisa was a 'what if' type of person.

"She knew that where we lived in Cumbria if anything major happened travelling by road to a major trauma centre would be difficult.

“She has left a big hole in my life, we lived and worked together. I miss her little tips and tricks.

"She was just an amazing woman who treated everyone how she wanted to be treated.

“She loved animals and wanted to help them however she could.”

Mr Snelson said while Lisa was in hospital she fought for her life until the very end managing to get a final 'I love you' in.
