Car seized and driver had 'long walk home' after travelling from Manchester to Morecambe for 'exercise'
A MOTORIST 'has a long walk home to think about' the actions after being stopped by police driving from Manchester to Morecambe for 'exercise'.
Preston neighbourhood policing team posted about the news this morning on their social media.
A police spokesman said they stopped the vehicle on the M6 initially due to travelling at excess speed.
It said: "Turned out the driver was travelling from Manchester to Morecambe for exercise!
"Turned out the driver didn't have insurance either.
"Vehicle seized and driver issued with a TOR. #longwalkhometothinkaboutit #MN11 #T2TacOps"
