A new pharmacy outpatient reception was opened at the Royal Bolton Hospital last week.

Fiona Noden, Chief Executive, officially opened the new Pharmacy outpatient reception on March 4 which will provide a confidential space for the pharmacy team to counsel patients on their medicines and separate outpatients for ward staff and visitors coming to the department.

Steve Simpson, chief pharmacist, said: "I’m tremendously proud of our new outpatient Pharmacy, we now have a separate reception for outpatients and inpatients and this will only improve the experience for staff and patients. It looks fabulous, its clean, its clinical and it’s modern.

"What we’ve been able to achieve with iFM and the developers is something we should all be proud of."
