A car crashed into some parked cars outside a primary school this morning, with the driver running away from the scene.
Residents reported hearing and seeing a police helicopter around the Heaton area this morning for a significant amount of time.
Pictures then showed that a car had crashed into at least one parked car in a residential road, with police on the scene.
The incident happened in Eastbourne Grove, outside Saint Thomas of Canterbury Roman Catholic Primary School, around 9am this morning.
Greater Manchester Police have been approached for more information.
