THE owner of a snake who went missing around two weeks ago is pleading with the public to help him find his way back home.
Seven-month-old ball python, Mukka, was last seen by owner Mark Golding around a fortnight ago at his home in Lee Lane, Horwich.
The snake was a Father's Day gift to Mark, and has a high sentimental value for him.
He believes that he might have escaped outside somehow.
Father-of-three Mark, 47, a personal trainer, said: "He went missing around two weeks ago and I've turned my house upside down.
"I've removed the skirting boards and taken out kitchen units but had no luck."
"He's only a baby and he's completely harmless. He would be more scared of you than you would be of him."
Mukka lives on a diet of rats, and requires feeding around once a week.
Mark added online: "It's with a heavy heart that I write - I lost my baby boy two weeks ago.
"I don't want to alarm or frighten anyone, I would just like him back."
Anyone who knows any information about Mukka's whereabouts should contact Mark on 07521223382.
