Frank Worthington delighted Wanderers fans
Following Frank Worthington’s death at the age of 72, Wanderers fans have been sharing their memories of a Whites great.
Back in November, The Bolton News’ chief football writer Marc Iles was joined by lifelong Wanderers fans Steven Battersby and Mark Topham on The Buff Extra to talk about the Bolton legend and what he brought to Ian Greaves' swaggering Bolton team of the late seventies.
That night at Ewood Park, those goals against United, and many more memories of one of the most talented and flamboyant players ever to pull on a white shirt.
