The bird in Bolton Town Centre
A SMALL exotic-looking bird has been spotted flying around Bolton Town Centre.
The bird, with its gorgeous colours, was seen flying on the walls and trees opposite Tiffany's cafe at around 13.40.
A passerby said the bird "looked like it had blood on its head" and hoped that it was "helped to safety."
It is likely that the bird belongs to someone and is kept as a pet.
Birds are becoming an increasingly popular pet in the UK and the pet bird population has previously been measured at approximately 1,000,000.
