A second arrest has been made following burglaries in Breightmet and Harwood.
Today (March 28), officers have arrested a 41-year-old female on suspicion of burglary, handling stolen goods and fraud. She remains in police custody for questioning.
On Friday (March 26), police responded to reports of a burglary at a house on Down Green Road in Harwood. During the burglary, a car was stolen, amongst other things.
Yesterday, police responded to reports of a burglary at a house on Forton Avenue in Breightmet.
A 47-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of both those burglaries. He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The car stolen during the burglary in Harwood was recovered on Levens Drive in Breightmet yesterday and is being examined by the GMP forensic team.
