Long before you got milk from the supermarket or corner shop, the daily delivery was part of everyday life.
This wonderful old photograph from the archives shows a milk float in a cobbled Stitch-Mi-Lane making its rounds. Sadly the photo is undated but it’s clear it’s from quite a while ago, probably pre-war.
