A MAN who failed to name the driver of a Renault Captur to police on November 17 last year has been fined £660 plus £151 in costs.
The case against David Allred, aged 30, of Radcliffe Road, Bolton, was proved at Manchester Magistrates’ Court and six points were added to his licence.
In separate cases the same penalties were given to the following people who did not name drivers:
- Wayne Bessell, aged 45, of Century Lodge, Farnworth — a Ford Transit on August 13
- Adam Cartwright, aged 37, of Worsley Road, Farnworth — a VW Transporter on November 18
- Zohaib Javed, aged 25, of Argo Street, Bolton — a Seat Leon on November 24
- Steven Critchley, aged 67, of Duncan Street, Horwich — a Land Rover Discovery on October 22
