Two lanes were closed on the M60 this morning with traffic queuing due to a collision.
Debris was left on the road due to an accident between a car and a van on the M60 clockwise at junction 17 with Bury New Road.
Traffic was queuing back to junction 12 at the Eccles Interchange with traffic officers at the scene.
Extra travel time went over 40 minutes with delays also being seen on the M61 heading towards Manchester.
All lanes were reopened around 8:35am, with delays still taking effect.
