A car was seized by police last night in Bolton after officers discovered a driver lying about their age on their insurance policy.
Police say they spotted a car nearly driving through a no entry sign onto a road so pulled it over in Wemsley Grove, Tonge, for checks.
It was then discovered that the drivers insurance policy said they were 40 years old.
However, the driver was actually only 21.
They were therefore issued a report for this offence with their car seized by officers.
A GMP Traffic spokesman said: "After nearly driving through a no entry, the driver of the Focus was stopped on Wemsley Grove, Bolton by officers.
"Checks showed his age to be 21, not 40 as on the insurance policy.
"Car seized and TOR (Traffic Offence Report) issued."
