Bolton Hospice welcome back customers to their charity shops across Bolton from Monday.
All shops, except their town centre one, will re-open their doors at 10am and will enable the hospice to start selling donated items to raise vital funds for hospice care. Each week the charity shops were closed in lockdown, the hospice lost £25,000 of income. To cope with the increased demand as people look to donate their unwanted items after lockdown clear-outs, each shop has specific times and days that you can donate your unwanted items. You can find your local hospice shop and see when you can donate your items at www.boltonhospice.org.uk.
Cathy Wright, head of retail said: “We’ve missed everyone terribly and can’t wait to get back in the shops to start to be able to raise the vital funds for Bolton Hospice that we’ve been unable to generate during lockdown."
"A huge thank you to our community for their continued support while our charity shops have been closed, it’s been a challenging time but the support we’ve received has been absolutely fantastic. We look forward to welcoming everyone back over the coming weeks, please do pop in and pick up a bargain at your local shop!”
The hospice will also be resuming their free home collections on 12th April, you can schedule collections online at www.boltonhospice.org.uk/book-free-home-collection or by contacting the Bolton Hospice Retail team 01204 663063 or by emailing shopsco-ordinator@boltonhospice.org
