POLICE are asking parent where there children are this evening after a busy night of dealing with misbehaving children.

Neighbourhood officers have been on patrol in the Breightmet area as part on an ongoing operation to crackdown on anti-social behaviour.

Officers said youths have been going into school grounds, causing a nuisance at Leverhulme Park and on the neighbouring housing estate.

A spokesman for GMP Bury North said this evening: "Parents - do you know where your children are?

"Bolton North Neighbourhood Team are currently out conducting ASB – anti-social behaviour patrols, it has been a busy night so far with a number of reports of youths entering a number different school grounds in the locality. Anti-social behaviour has also been reported at Leverhulme Park and the neighbouring housing estate.

"Please check on your children...

"Patrols will be in the area throughout the evening and coming week."

Only a few weeks ago police broke up a group of 50 kids in Horwich causing trouble - and had to take two drunk teenagers back to their homes.
