POLICE are hunting for a man wanted in connection with the burglary of an elderly couple in Bromley Cross.
Officers were sent to a home on Hillside Avenue on the morning of Wednesday February 17 after reports a man broke into the elderly residents' property the night before and stole items from their bedroom.
Three CCTV images has now been released of a man at the Shell petrol station in Tonge Moor on the same evening that stolen bank cards were used there and police want to speak to him in connection with the burglary.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "The images were taken from CCTV from a petrol station where stolen bank cards were used.
"The same cards were also used on the same evening at a petrol station in Salford so there is a chance the suspect is from Salford.
"We would like to speak to anyone who recognises this man."
