MORE than 1,000 cannabis plants were found on an industrial estate in Bolton.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police's Great Lever Neighbourhood Team executed a warrant at a unit in the Pilot Works Industrial Estate in Manchester Road.
Officers subsequently found 1,227 cannabis plants in the unit.
A further 15 bags of plants that had been fully cropped were also discovered.
One man has been arrested and has been brought in for questioning by police.
The incident was reported on Greater Manchester Police's Bolton North Facebook account.
A spokesman said: " A Section 23 Drugs Warrant was executed by the Great Lever Neighbourhood Team at a unit on Pilot Works Industrial Estate, Manchester Road.
"A total of 1227 cannabis plants was located in the unit plus 15 bags of plants that had been fully cropped.
"One male has been arrested and brought in for questioning #greatlever."
