MANY dream of a white Christmas - but weather experts say there is little chance this year.
Bookies are offering long odds at 11-2 for snow to fall in Bolton on Christmas Day, but, with mild weather predicted, few punters are taking the bait.
Amateur local forecaster Graham Fullarton, who runs a weather station from his home in Belmont, said: "The chances of snow are very very small.
"It looks like it will be bright and breezy, and fairly mild."
The last time it snowed in Bolton over Christmas was in 2004.
