A ELDERLY man and woman were taken to hospital after a car reportedly crashed into parked cars, a lamppost and the wall of a house.
The collision happened on Bury Road in Tonge Fold, near the junction with Belvoir Street, at around 1.20pm yesterday.
Emergency services arrived and a man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s were freed from the car.
They were then taken to hospital.
Greater Manchester Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
A force spokesman said: "Police were called at 1.35pm on Thursday to a report of a collision involving car colliding with parked vehicles on Bury Road, Bolton.
"Officers attended and a car is understood to have collided with some parked cars, a lamppost and the wall of a house."
A North West Ambulance Service added: "We attended an incident on Belvoir Street following a 999 call at 13.21 on Thursday.
"Two patients extricated from vehicle and taken to hospital, a man in his 80s and woman in her 70s."
