A MAN has been released under investigation after a large cannabis farm was found in Great Lever.
Police were sent to a unit at the Pilot Works Industrial Estate on Thursday morning at around 8am and discovered 1,277 plants as well as 15 bags of harvested cannabis.
A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the production of class B drugs.
But he has since been released under investigation.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "At around 8am on Thursday, police executed a warrant at an industrial estate on Manchester Road.
"Officers seized 1,277 plants, along with 15 bags of harvested cannabis.
"A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of production of class B drugs.
He has since been released under investigation."
