BOLTON CHA rambling club has prepared a new walking programme to restart activities from May 19.
The well-established rambling club offers graded walks every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the year, from easy to strenuous, ranging from approximately five miles to twelve miles.
A club spokesman said: "The benefits of regular walking are well documented - it strengthens muscles and joints, improves circulation, lifts the mood and mental wellbeing and, added to this, it’s easy to do.
"Get yourself a comfortable pair of walking-boots and ideally, a waterproof jacket and backpack for your lunch and off you go."
Every walk has a designated leader, and the walks will conform to the current government guidelines.
