THREE local companies have each won £2,000 worth of coaching help and the chance to boost their business with advice from industry experts like Lord Alan Sugar.

Gail Hounslea at Ladderstore in Bolton, Nicola Bailey from Bright and Beautiful Homes and Nicola Wood from Hair Made Easi in Bury were the local winners.

They will each receive a free ticket to two-day event BizX 2021, the Business Excellence Forum and Awards organised by global coaching company ActionCOACH.

BizX 2021 will be held virtually on April 29 and 30. TV presenter Stephen Mulhern will host and, as well as Lord Sugar, speakers will include personal development expert Paul McKenna.

Leading marketing influencer Seth Godin will also be on the programme along with internationally renowned business coach Brad Sugars and best-selling author Kim Scott.

The winners will also each receive four full coaching sessions from ActionCOACH Bolton, based in Deakins Business Park in Egerton.

Managing director Paul Limb said: “Many business owners have found the last year a real challenge and we’ve been working hard to support the business community throughout.

“I wanted to help give a few of them a kick-start and some inspiration to help them and their businesses fly out of the starting blocks and flourish as lockdown restrictions start to ease. So we held this draw and have given away a prize pot of over £10,000.

“The ticket will allow them to watch the most inspirational line-up of speakers we have ever hosted. The coaching sessions will help them to focus on the areas where they have the biggest challenge, cement their learnings and create some action points to really help them move forward.

“I’ve attended BizX several times and have always walked away with pads full of new learning, great action points and inspiration from some of the best speakers on their subject in the world.”

Gail Hounslea added: “I’m really excited to hear some of the speakers, particularly Penny Haslam, Seth Godin and Kim Scott. The coaching hours will also be really helpful to me, especially when coming through this turbulent time.”
