A 33-YEAR-OLD man has been charged after 10kg of suspected cocaine was found in a car on the M62 on Tuesday.
A Ford C-Max was stopped between junction 9 and junction 8 of the M62.
A search was carried out and around 10kg of suspected cocaine in wrapped parcels — with an estimated street value of £1m — was discovered before being seized.
Scott Patel, 33, of Oldham Road, Manchester, was arrested and taken into custody for questioning.
After being interviewed, he was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Patel was remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court on Wednesday.
