A DRIVER asleep in his car left the engine running on the forecourt of a petrol station.
The Audi driver was found taking a snooze by officers at the petrol station in New Lane, Eccles.
Checks revealed him to be disqualified and he also failed a drugs test.
The driver, who was also found with cannabis, was arrested for all offences.
The incident was reported on Greater Manchester Police's Traffic Twitter account.
A spokesman said: "The driver of the Audi was found by #XT18 asleep in the car with the engine running on the forecourt of the petrol station New Lane Eccles.
WChecks revealed him to be disqualified. He also failed a drugs test. Also found with cannabis he was arrested for all offences."
