A WOMAN found collapsed on the floor of her home died after suffering fractured ribs and bleeding in her chest.
An inquest at Bolton Coroner's Court heard how sales assistant Victoria Hill was discovered at her house in Little Harwood Lee, Harwood, on April 18 by her two sons.
Police coroner's officer Marcheta Hogan told how 51-year-old Ms Hill was not breathing.
"It was reported that Victoria Anne Hill had suffered being alcohol dependant," said Ms Hogan, who added that paramedics attended and recorded her death at the scene at 2.33pm.
Ms Hogan stated that there were no suspicious circumstances.
A post mortem revealed that Ms Hill died from a left hemothorax, left rib fractures and alcohol-related cirrhosis.
Senior coroner Timothy Brennand adjourned the inquest for a full hearing to take place on August 31.
