THE Trafford Centre reached maximum capcity this afternoon and shoppers were urged to treat staff with kindness while they waited to enter.
A tweet released by the shopping centre at 1.30pm on May 1 said that the site was now full.
Numbers of shoppers are limited inside the building to ensure social distancing rules can be followed.
The spokesperson said that a queuing system was in place at all entrances to the Trafford Centre.
They added that staff at the centre are trying to manage the flow of poeple, ensure that shoppers can go inside quickly and safely.
The Trafford Centre said:"We are currently at capacity with a quieing system in place at all entrances.
"Please be kind to our teams who are working hard to get everyone in quickly and safely."

Non-essential shops were able to reopen on April 12.
