A POPULAR tourist attraction in Dorchester is set to reopen its doors to the public.

The Keep Military Museum, in Bridport Road, is reopening its doors to visitors from May 17 with some new displays.

The museum closed on January 4 due to the Government's decision to put the country into a third national lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

It will be open from Monday to Saturday with pre-booking essential until further notice.

For a limited time, adult tickets are half price - £3.50 and £2.75 for seniors aged 60 and over - and kids go free.

The museum will be open from 10am to 4.30pm with last admission at 3.30pm.

The Museum is fully accessible with a lift to every floor - apart from the roof.
